April 2009 - There are are presently two bills before the Maine Legislature they are LD 814, "An Act Regarding the Sale of Weapons at Gun Shows," and LD 985, "An Act To Increase Public Safety by Requiring a Federally Licensed Firearms Dealer To Facilitate the Transfer of Firearms."

Follow Up: The two anti gun bills before the Maine legislature have been killed in committee with an "Ought Not To Pass" recommendation.
